I am, first and foremost, an artist and hair is one of the most meaningful ways I express that. After graduating with a BFA from the University of Michigan School of Art and Design in 2011, I trained at Douglas J Aveda Institute in downtown Ann Arbor, and have come to see hair not just as a service, but as a way to connect, uplift, and even heal. I’m a day-maker at heart and genuinely love people; the conversations, the laughter, the quiet moments, and the deep, meaningful exchanges all matter to me. I believe in showing up as my real, raw, and authentic self, and I invite my clients to do the same. To me, hair is an experience, never just a transaction. I value quality over quantity, and relationships over routines. I want to know who you are, what you love, and what makes you feel most like yourself. Hair is art. Art is connection. And connection, at its core, is love.

I am based in the Ann Arbor/Dexter area and offer flexible, by-request scheduling to best meet each client’s needs. I work with clients of all ages and primarily focus on haircuts, while also offering a range of coloring services including root touch-ups, balayage, highlights, and fashion colors. In addition, I provide styling services such as braids and formal hairstyles for special occasions or everyday expression. After recently moving back to the Ann Arbor area, I am currently building my clientele and working out of a private and intimate salon suite, creating a calm, welcoming space away from the noise and chaos of traditional salons. At this time, all inquiries and appointments are handled directly through me via phone call, text, or email, allowing for a more personal connection from the very start. In the future, online booking will be available through this site, but for now, I truly look forward to connecting with you one-on-one and creating something beautiful together.
